Ever felt that smug glow of satisfaction when watching a film adaptation of a novel you've read, basking in the knowledge that you're fully aware of the hero's pet dog's name even though it was never once mentioned in the movie?!? Welcome to the club!

This group is a hybrid mix of a book club and a movie fan club. We read a new book every month, whether it be a classic work of fiction or a more contemporary novel, and then we meet up to watch its film adaptation at a cinema in the city. We then head off to a nearby pub or restaurant to discuss both the book and the film - comparing the merits of each over a nice glass of chianti and some fava beans!
